Carnival 2010

View the lots in our Silent Auction. Bids can be placed on the afternoon of Saturday 14th August at "The Carnival Village" and on Sunday 15th beside the Moot Hall. The highest bidder at 4pm on Sunday recieves their lot.

Come back again next year! The carnival will be on 13th, 14th, & Monday 15th August 2011

Join in at Aldeburgh Carnilogoval on 14th, 15th and 16th August 2010.

giving endless possibilities for you to decorated your houses and enter the procession.

Aldeburgh is fortunate in being one of the towns that has Emma Smith Carnival Queenmanaged to continue the carnival tradition when so many others have been forced to give up. Their carnival lasts three days with events for all ages culminating on the third Monday in August with a Traditional Carnival Parade, followed in the evening by a Military Band countermarching in the High Street before leading the Chinese Lantern Procession’ inTHe EarthThe Bandwhich anyone can take part, down to the beach for a Spectacular Firework Display. In 2010 the Band of the Prince of Wales's Division will lead the Carnival Procession.
